Whether you write and perform your own material or the songs of others, this 4-Day, 2-Weekend Performance Workshop, offered periodically throughout the year, will hone performing skills and increase confidence on any stage. Learn how to create a performance concept and define your onstage image. Act structure, selection of musical material and presentation options, pacing, lyric interpretation and phrasing, development of a stage persona and presence, determination of market audience plus understanding the business side of performing will be covered.

In addition to artistic suggestions for performance and career development, attendees will rehearse and receive presentation critiques at each session. At the conclusion of the Workshop, an evening Performance Showcase featuring all the participants will be presented at a local theatre or club.
The Workshop is an ideal opportunity for established performers to polish and refine their onstage presentations, in addition to newer artists looking for creative direction for their performing careers. And you don’t have to be seeking a professional career to partake in the Workshop to enrich your pleasure of singing for yourself.
Performers will be responsible for bringing their own sheet music, leadsheets, tracks or an instrument (if you play one) to each session. A P/A and a pianist will be available for all performers. Attendees should bring a lunch and a snack daily if desired.
